Donations

A regular monthly donation is the best way to help the charity:

• £5 can treat 5 malnourished children
• £10 can treat 10 out-patients
• £30 gives eye-sight back to a poor person

A one-off donation can also be a significant boost to our resources and gives you a chance to make a long-lasting contribution to this charitable project:

• £1000 names a bed in the hospital
• £5000 names a room in the hospital
• £20,000 names a ward or block in the hospital
  

Our charity can claim back the tax paid on donations. Using Gift Aid means that for every £1 you give, the charity gets an extra 28p helping your donation go further. So every £10 you give the charity will get another £2.80 from the government. Plus, if you are a higher taxpayer you can claim tax relief on the donation in your annual tax return.

Cheque/Standing Order

You can set up a regular standing order or make a one off payment by cheque. Simply download and print off a donation form by clicking on the following link. Then mail it to the address on the form. Please remember to complete the Gift Aid declaration so that the charity can recover addtional tax as part of your donation.

Fees.

Charity Choice and the Co-operative Bank charge no fees for this service to you or the Hashim Welfare Hospital charity. The only fees applicable are those levied by the card issuers and Charity Choice have negotiated extremely favourable rates by pooling all donations via one account. The latest rates charged by the card issuers for donations processed via Charity Choice in association with The Co-Operative Bank Plc are charged at 2.35% for all major credit cards and 27.50p for all major debit cards.
