Visitors to the HWH in 2008/9

Mufti Liaquat Ali being shown the dispensary
Our donors are always interested in the work the charity does and how their contributions are used. It is an honour to receive them when they visit the hospital in Pakistan. We were blessed in the last year by the visit of Mufti Liaquat Amod, former imam, Shah Jahan Mosque, Woking and Fazilat Hussain Shah, Hajji Mushtaq and Khawaja Saeed, who have visited twice already. Another important visit included Amjad Ashraf, a chartered accountant in the UK. We are grateful to his firm for preparing the HWH accounts this year. Some of the guests and visitors from Pakistan and the UK are fondly remembered by staff and local people for actually donating on-site.

Another unique feature that has emerged among our donors over the years is that not only do they enjoy visiting the hospital but on occasion will bring unwell relatives and friends. First of all it gives us great pleasure to hear positive views about the work being done. Secondly we take on board any suggestions for improvement of services. Thirdly, local staff know that they are being appreciated and on-view.
